夕阳西下，放牧归来的杨福躺在床上抽着烟，两眼直直的望着天棚，历历往事浮现在眼前。那是他服兵役的时候，回陕北探亲，家里给他说了个叫菊英的媳妇。他们恩恩爱爱地过了两个月。临走前，菊英叮嘱他明 年春天一定回来看看他们的孩子。谁知第二年春天，大雪封山他不能回去，第三年雪一开化，他就赶紧往家赶。此时，家乡正遭大旱，到家只见一把生锈的铁锁挂在门上。一打听，才知父亲已饿死，菊英拖着8个月的身孕去找他，至今未归。伤心的杨福到处寻找妻子毫无结果。后来，上级决定他退伍，无家可归的杨福主动要求在帕米尔高原为部队放牧。同志们都劝孤身一人的杨福再成个家，可姑娘看不上他偷偷地跑了。从此，他决心再不找女人。一天，杨福下山遇一位衣衫褴褛的年轻女人，是个哑巴。杨福买了几个馍送给她。谁知这女人竟偷偷跟他上了山。天快黑了也不好赶她下山。夜里，女人竟开口讲述了她的身世，求杨福收留她。杨福和这个叫改改的女人举行了婚礼。"八一"快到了，要按时把肉送到哨卡去，可杨福却发高烧病倒了。改改趁他睡熟之时，自己赶着牦牛去送肉。回来的路上，天气骤变，改改把从卫生员那里拿的药拴在牧羊犬的脖子上送回，自己在雪中吃力的走着。突然，发生了雪崩，改改被吞没了。杨福发现牧羊犬带回的药，预感发生了不幸，他呼喊着改改的名字。喊声在多年沉默的冰山中回荡。上级给杨福在山下安排了工作，但他表示哪儿也不去，他离不开哨卡，离不开牛羊，离不开改改。

Indeed the streets Zongshan Donglu which contains the Bund, Pudong, the famous Oriental Pearl is not the stock market and everyone. We must go farther Jingan District to discover the social wealth of this city . Why attach immense cold and nervous architectures while the Shanghai Blood flows through the veins of its rural ?
