七年前，宣花（成贤娥 饰）是宪俊（金泰宇 饰）的女友。文昊（刘智太 饰）是宪俊的学弟，同时文昊又一直暗恋宣花。不久宪俊到国外留学，宣花与文昊两人开始约会，但最终也没能走到一起。宪俊在七年后学成归国，并成了导演，他找到了在大学教书的文昊聚旧，这时候文昊已成家立室。叙谈之间，他们渐渐说起了往日所爱——宣花。他们都想再次见到宣花，于是两人决定一起去寻找宣花。在一同寻找旧爱的过程中，两个男人之间又开始有了内心的较量。

导演武正晴 X 编剧足立绅话题电影<嘘八百>将推出续集。故事依然围绕着古物商人和陶器家展开，故事主舞台从堺转到了京都，中井贵一继续搭档佐佐木藏之介，广末凉子参演。2020年新春公映。

古时候，书生乔溪（韩非 饰）赴京赶考，巧遇官府小姐蓝秀英（孙景璐 饰），俩人一见钟情。秀英之兄蓝木斯（阳华 饰）乃一纨绔子弟，整日游手好闲，欺男霸女。他见黄家女儿丽娟（凤凰 饰）生的貌美，伺机抢亲。黄母（黄耐霜 饰）无奈携女出逃至某客栈，蓝随后带家丁追到客栈，迷路的乔溪则路遇抢亲花轿钻进去，被误为黄女抬入蓝府。一觉醒来的乔溪闻听事由经过，在轿内男扮女装，要戏弄一下飞扬跋扈的蓝公子。秀英非常不满哥哥的抢亲行为，协助乔溪假戏真做。蓝母（高依云 饰）护犊心切，不听女儿劝阻，反要女儿劝“新娘”就范。当她掀起盖头，发现“新娘”竟是那日路遇的书生乔公子......

A doctor's wife tires of his obsession with model trains, and spends her days wondering about the son she gave up for adoption at birth. While eating at a roadside cafe, she encounters a British hitchhiker, who turns out to be her son. They spend time together trying to find a bond. The son begins to hate the husband, and the wife begins worrying about the safety of her husband and his train set. Distraught and dreamy Linda Henry (Theresa Russell) complains to her husband, surgeon Henry Henry (Christopher Lloyd), about their sex-less, childless marriage, but he's obsessed with his basement model railroad layout and also engaged in an affair with a nurse (Sandra Bernhard). When mysterious stranger Martin (Gary Oldman) drops in on Linda, he claims to be her long-lost illegitimate son. As seen in flashbacks, the 16-year-old Linda was raped at a carnival by a man (Gary Oldman) who resembles Martin.
